Cabinet spokesman Minister Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena elaborately explained the factionalism of the JVP and insinuated that the factionalism might be a cause for the abduction. “ I don’t know who did it, but I can tell you for sure that it wasn’t the government All I have to say about who is responsible is what Dimuthu Artygala told the media”

Speaking at a special press conference held in regard to the disappearance of the two Frontline Socialist Party activists said that the Police can’t look into every incident that takes place in the country. “You can’t expect the Police to look into every incident that takes place, the Police cant look into incidents that take place around the country at once, this doesn’t happen even in any other country around the world” he said.

Responding to a question raised by the Daily Mirror as to how the abductees were dropped off in the heart of Colombo without being nabbed when the whole country was on alert the Minister said he didn’t know how it happened. “ we don’t know how they were dropped, we don’t know anything about it, how can we know?” he asked.

Responding to another question raised by the media as to if there are armed groups functioning without the knowledge of the government and the law enforcement authorities he said that there might be splinter groups formed from the remnants of the groups that carried out two armed struggles. “ This country has come out of war and there were two armed groups that carried arms in this country, so there might be splinter groups or remnants of these groups who are sill functioning” he said.(Hafeel Farisz)

Now government and its people think that it is like a small company only responsible for so called, politically powerfull patriots, If something happend to others, affected peoples must suspect others and find the cause by them selves or dig a hole and hide from patriots, anyway I will apply green card this year. please publish my feeling about this country.
