How dumb some people can be. Only our Captain batted consistently and Chandimal just once.

About time. SL cricket needs discepline and a person to drive motivation. Marvan was a good person and batsman, but never had the skills to coach. SL cricket needs an international head coach.

Why not Sanga as the new coach?

    Yeti Friday, 04 September 2015 03:59 PM

Well, he can always make a comeback as the water boy could he not. If MR can do why not Marvan?

This is the best idea. Sanga should be paid well and kept as SriLankan Coach.

    NostrilDOOMAS Thursday, 03 September 2015 08:48 PM

Nothing personal to Mevan. I recommended to not appoint him as coach because of his past failure as a batsmen who failed to improve his own standards.

    Kadmin Thursday, 03 September 2015 08:51 PM

This is good given his poor recent performance. We need a good transformational coach to guide our players though this tough period.

    Hamzamr Thursday, 03 September 2015 08:55 PM

its good that Marwan resigned. Some of the corrupt and swollen headed cricketers should be fixed or punished because they are ruining the game. Some they perform in IPL but not in the National team. Improve the batting styles of some of the players where they gets out the same way most of the time.

    TONY Thursday, 03 September 2015 09:20 PM

IT IS GOOD THAT HE RESIGNED BECAUSE OF THE FAILURE VS INDIA. THAT IS HOW ONE SHOULD ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY. OUR CRICKETERS WILL HAVE TO IMPROVE IN ALL THREE DEPTS OF THE GAME AND BE CONSISTENT. THE SELECTORS WILL ALSO HAVE TO SHARE THE BLAME FOR OUR POOR PERFORMANCE IN THE RECENT TEST SERIES

    janaka Thursday, 03 September 2015 09:26 PM

We need a foreign coach , We have lot so many under Marvan. We are once again to our Old Days Cricket Not interested to watch matches .

    Sam Thursday, 03 September 2015 10:01 PM

Thank you Marvan what you did for Lankan cricket. The failure is not from your side, its from the team and mainly from the Captain. We have to remove the Captain too.

    Man Friday, 04 September 2015 09:07 AM

Players like Lahiru, vice captain is the main cause for the failures with the selection blunders.
