Moratuwa Deputy Mayor Sujith Pushpakumara (UPFA) was arrested by the Colombo Crime Division this evening in connection with the killing of Egodauyana Sunanda Upananda Viharaya Chief Monk Ven. Matigahathanne Wimalawansha Thera, police sources said.

They said another suspect was also taken into police custody over the incident.
