Govt. declares two days mourning for Mandela

The Government Information Department said today that December 10 and 11 would be declared national days of mourning in honour of the late South African President Nelson Mandela.
 
The department said that that the national flag would fly at half-mast on the two days

    Well, this is really bullshit. Well Mandela is respected leader. But observing 2 days is to show other world that how much we value Mandela,s ideology in Sri Lanka. But in practical we follow nothing. We are far better than India where they observe for 3 days. Our countries really become comical lands

    it is good respecting a good person for what he has done for his nation and his country to come to terms/unity, but mourning only will not help anybody, should educate the monks and new/old generation what he has done and what we learnt from him and what we have done or practice. Did we do that??? that is what a wise gov will do
