Work at all courts in the country has come to a standstill due to a boycott by Judges and Lawyers in protest against the attack on Mannar Courts. (LS)

    delay is not merely because lawyers and why you don't blame to the lawmakers for not taking any actions to implement suitable procedures to expedite disposing cases. Today some cases will be postponed to next January.

    Respectable people like judges , lawyers Professors, Doctors and all others should come together and influence Government to bring Law and order to country. Otherwise this will be a Banana republic. Must give a severe punishment for those who responsible for anarchy.

    It was only recently that the Defence Secretary said that Police powers have not been curtailed and there is no deterioration of law and order in the country.

    Nothing New delay in disposing cases already exist. One day delay has no impact at all.
