A 30-year-old woman was arrested with narcotic substances which has a street value of Rs. 9.5 million at a roadblock near Bodhiya Junction in Modara today.
Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said the police carry out operation to check those violating ID number system and quarantine violations.
Accordingly, roadblocks and checkpoints are set up on many roads. In one of those checkpoints at the Bodhiya junction in Modera, the policemen have arrested the woman who was in possession of 500 grams of heroin, 250 grams of Ice and 1 kg of hashish.
The Police also taken a three wheeler into police custody along with its driver.(DSB)

Thats just a small amount of what is peddled day by day in Sri Lanka.Police should screen Wattala-Uswetakeiyawa Area.Thats were the real Drug Lords sit.
