Vaccinating school teachers to re-open schools soon: Minister

Attention will be paid to vaccinate all school teachers to ensure health care in schools to re-open them very soon, Education Minister G.L. Peiris said.

Addressing the media yesterday he said the teachers in the Western Province (WP) will be given priority.

Also said the ministry is hoping to continue with the similar practice in other provinces also soon. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)

Seriously, what is his problem? Has he no idea how anxious parents are? How can we send unvaccinated kids to school? Some are immunocompromised, some have asthma and other health issues. One kid gets sick the whole class is compromised. Dosent he understand or doesnt he care? Do kids have to start dying before they bolt the stable door ( as usual)
