Whatever the number of people infected in Sri Lanka only 11 have died of this virus so far. Compare this number to what is happening in other counties. Right now on average every 24 hours, Indians are loosing over 200 lives, British are loosing over 300 lives, and the Americans are loosing over 800 lives. Yet the world media is not reporting about the Sri Lankan achievement, this is because we don’t have strong political leaders of world standing in Sri Lanka and also we do not have any powerful news media to dominate the world news.

No one really knows about SL. The countries you mention are developed first world counties which are of interest to the worlds media.
