Three police personnel killed: Two suspects arrested

Three police personnel on duty were killed during a search operation at Dematagoda this afternoon, police sources said.

It was reported that there has been crossfire between a police team and a group of people at Dematagoda and two individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident.

    There should be more effective training for the police to weed out criminals from a deadly situation. This looked like a amature approach. These three police officers lives could have been saved.
