Three inmates of the Kalutara Prison, who were remanded for offensives involved with narcotics, had escaped early this morning, Police said.
They said the prisoners aged between 23 and 32 were identified as residents of Beruwala and Kalutara.
Several police teams had been deployed to arrest the inmates.(Thusitha Kumara de Silva)
