Three Lebanese were arrested by the Immigration and Emigration Department at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) this morning when they attempted to enter the country on forged passports.
The husband, wife and their son are being questioned by the CID.
The woman and the son had forged passports issued in Britain while the man had a forged passport issued in Germany.
Meanwhile, three Palestinian asylum passports had also been found in their possession following investigations.
The suspects are to be produced in Negombo Magistrate’s Court today. (T.K.G.Kapila)
