A 28-year-old suspect was arrested by the Special Task Force personnel while he was transporting 5 kgs of heroin on a motorbike at Y-junction in Makola this afternoon, Police said.
The suspect was identified as Samaraweera Arachchige Jeewan Perera, a resident of Kiribathgoda, Kelaniya.
