A special traffic plan will be in place on the roads in the vicinity of St. Anthony's Church in Kochchikade, Colombo as there will be special mass conducted at the church, police said.
The service will be held on April 20 from 4.00 pm to 12.00 noon on April 21.
Police said the special traffic plan would be implimented by the Colombo Traffic Division as a large number of devotees are expected to throng the church during that period.
Accordingly, traffic on the following roads opposite the Kochchikade Church will be restricted.
Entry to Kochchikade Church from Jinthupitiya street on St. Anthony's Avenue, from Hettiyawatta Junction towards the Church on Sri
Ramanathan Mawatha and enter Kochchikade Church from Jampetta Street Police Station on the Christy Perera Mawatha will also be restricted.
Police urge the people who are using the above roads, to use alternative routes.(DSB)
