All senior citizens above 60 years of age in the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) territory would be vaccinated with Oxford-AstraZeneca within 14 days from Saturday (27), Colombo Mayoress Rosy Senanayake said.
She said the Department of Public Health at the CMC is preparing for the vaccination programme.
She said all those who are over 60 years of age should register soon by giving their names to the Municipal Councilors and Public Health Inspectors (PHIs).

Please have a online system to register. Senior citizens won't be able to go behind Municipal councilors and PHI's. There should be a better way to give appointments for vaccinations..

Why not govt. Get the participation of the pvt. Hospitals too to give these vaccines as per govt policy in order to reduce the burden of the cmc health staff. Some hospitals are proving quarantine in hotels.

Please arrange for the publication of a professionally engineered process that citizens can follow to receive the vaccine.
