Maintain strict border control don't allow Muslim or otherwise to travel to villages. To celebrate any festival. We will not die nor anyone in villages if breadwinners don't join them for festival. But they will die if we spread the virus for every Tom Dick and Harry's need. As presently is happening. Please have some sense. Can't you learn a lessons from your neighborhood countries. People are dying like flies.

Thanks for the gesture. But we Muslims should stay back where we are, just as Prophet Mohammed has guided us to act on a pandemic. We're staying back and making few arrangements for the kids to enjoy, but we do miss spending time with our parents, just as last time, but if that's what is required for the betterment of the nation, we would and should do it wholeheartedly. Having said this, we would feel much better, the government would have taken similar actions during April festivals, without halting PCRs for over a week

People were allowed to travel to their villages for sinhala tamil new year hence one reason for todays situation. Should not have a repeat by allowing people to travel for Eid. Also travel should be totally banned for vesak.

Normally the main opposition party of other countries gain ground on government party's mistakes, but here in Sri Lanka instead of capitalizing on any issue they continue to be unpopular thru their remarks like praising the former president whom most of the people averse and now siding with a certain community instead of focusing on broader issues.
