Colombo Mayoress Rosy Senanayake who won the first Mrs. World competition in 1985, said one should be humble enough to apologize when another person has erred.

She made these remarks at the backdrop of the recent incident at the Mrs. Sri Lanka beauty pageant.

Mrs. Senanayake said she believes the greatest act in the world is to have a kind heart that is willing to apologize the fellow human beings.

Most our sri Lankan don't have a heart

    C Dantanarayana Sunday, 11 April 2021 07:43 PM

Caroline should apologise for the act she did to pushpika. But she doesn’t have to apologise for everything else that happened behind the scenes that provoked her to do that. For that the organisers and the panel of judges should apologise.

    Chris Sunday, 11 April 2021 08:12 PM

Totally Agree. Caroline showed her upbringing by her classless acts

Truth matter Sunday, 11 April 2021 08:31 PM

No heart and no minds. Only we have emotion as some politicians and monks do

Anton Weerasinghe Monday, 12 April 2021 07:00 AM

Caroline talks about values, but she does't have any values, she and her Hitler friend is just thrash, garbage

    Leo Monday, 12 April 2021 07:56 AM

Pushpika should apologize for lying about her marital status, and using the pageant to promote her political status .

    Leo Monday, 12 April 2021 08:03 AM

Better teach these lessons to the politicians.

    mp Monday, 12 April 2021 08:04 AM

To get provoked what harm had others done for Caroline. It is nothing else than pure jealousy and callousness. Her so-called values. Funny, even foreigners criticized her shameless behaviour. She is swollen headed person. She seems to be thinking that she is fallen from the sky. Funny woman.

    Fernando Monday, 12 April 2021 08:12 AM

Accepting your own mistakes and apologising in such situations shows the up bringing of a decent human being. It clearly shows that Mrs Jurie lacks moral values.

    Apollo Monday, 12 April 2021 08:17 AM

Give an apology for all the wrongs you have done!!

    Terrence Monday, 12 April 2021 08:50 AM

Pushpa de Silva should apologize to the other contestants for her dishonesty for the lost opportunity of Sri Lanka otherwise there would not be an issue for Caroline to act inappropriately who should also apologize for her behaviour

    Joshua Monday, 12 April 2021 09:10 AM

No apology if politicians are involved
