Road accident claims four lives, injures eleven

Four people were killed and another eleven injured when a van and a tipper collided head-on at Nagavilluwa, Puttalam on the Puttalam – Colombo Main Road in the early hours of today, police said.

They said the van was travelling from Jaffna to Colombo and the tipper had come from the opposite side.

The drive of the tipper has been arrested in connection with the accident.

And so the destruction goes on ...every tragedy met with "something must be done" ...and then absolutely nothing done ...just goes to prove the lives of the little people are worthless ,except at election time
