Parliamentarian Rishad Bathiudeen, who was remanded over misappropriation of public funds, was brought to attend Parliament sittings today.
He arrived in Parliament wearing a Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) with the security of the Prisons Department. He was assigned a special seat in the chamber.
Serjeant-at-Arms of Parliament had informed Health Ministry Secretary to facilitate MP Bathiudeen to participate in Parliament sittings today and tomorrow.
