Mahinda Sir, You won the war thanks to the forces led by SF. Having won the war you did not attempt to improve the living standards of the people but went through mega projects to proper your name that allegedly gave you commission. Yes Yahapalanaya did not achieve what they promised to bring the rogues before courts and they failed.

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa has said that it was because of what he achieved in the North that President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe now have the opportunity to insult me when they go to the North, This is not the first time the former President has bragged about what he did for the North. He also used to claim it is he who liberated the Tamil People from the clutches of the LTTE. If these claims are true, why did the people of the North decisively rejected him in 2010 as well as in 2015? Why his party was trounced by the people of the North during the local government elections held in March 2018? Does Mahinda want the Tamils to forget about the carpet bombing carried out at Mullivaaikkal in which thousands perished? Does he wants the Tamils to forget about starving the people claiming there were only 70,000 people when in reality there were 282,000 people! Does he want the Tamils to forget about the 500 odd LTTE cadres shot to death?

I want to know what is achieved here? Is bringing bus load of people is an achievement? We know most of Sri Lankans are lazy and jobless. I need answer for 2 questions . Can Mahinda or gotta can be president? Let's be clear. As per constitution no 3rd term for a ex president and for a dual citizen can't become a president. So what is the purpose of this balaya?

Why MR is protesting.? Is it because of lack of freedom of expression? High cost of living? Or the current government failing to bring them to courts? If it is the cost of living, then he knows he himself is partly to blame. We are getting confused
