When power supersedes Law..............!!!. What if the balance was paid to the people of this country? That would have been a golden example.

    ANTON Thursday, 21 November 2019 11:19 AM

HOPE THERE IS NO CHANGE IN THE LAW IN THIS COUNTRY.

FOr our little country to WIN, court system famous lawyers included must be free of corruption and insider dealing. the postponements of this case was rather suspicious considering the presidential candidate.

mokan kosappu Thursday, 21 November 2019 05:41 PM

Under Sri Lanka’s constitution, no court proceedings can be maintained against a serving president. However, action could be taken after he leaves office.

    ram Friday, 22 November 2019 07:22 AM

this is a good example for how Sri Lanka's judicial system is working.

    Sriwardane Friday, 22 November 2019 12:41 PM

The UN may intervene if this is how things are going to go.

    VJ Sunday, 24 November 2019 09:28 PM

This was expected, the case was postponed many times anyway. The special courts was a waste of money and time. The people of Sri Lanka got a leader they deserve.
