President instructs Foreign Ministry to get back all SL students in Wuhan, China

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has instructed the Foreign Relations Ministry to get back all Sri Lankan students in Wuhan, China as soon as the Chinese authorities lift the travel restrictions to the province. The President's Office said there were 30 students in Wuhan and the Ministry was instructed to get the assistance of the Sri Lankan Embassy in Beijing, Consulate office in Hubei and Srilankan Airlines to get the students back. It said the cost of the operation will be borne by the government. (Lahiru Pothmulla)

I get sick when i see the comments of some people who have commented. I am just puzzled whether they are Sri Lankans? Don't they have Children? Some of them have not even read the article properly. This is a situation where all Sri Lankans must come forward to get these Children back, because they are stuck in about two cities in China and traumatised, as those cities are under lock down to prevent spread of the Disease. Do not bring petty politics at a time like this. There is no harm in Public money spent on this and that what Public money is meant for.The President has taken the right decision and the whole country should back that. Leave your political differences a side please, for a moment.
