President Maithripala Sirisena today instructed the Police and the security forces to conduct an impartial investigation into the Digana incident.
The President also instructed the law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety of the people in the area.
He instructed the police and armed forces to act responsibly so as to prevent the recurrence of any such harmful events in the future.

Racism, Violence, Roits and chaos will undoubtedly will bring in misery, High cost of living, disregard for srilankans ... etc we have suffered enough during the 30 year old war, which saw the Us$ reaching 150 from mere Rs.24. People should act wisely if not a heavy price will have to be paid. No violence Please!
