Postal workers to engage in sick-leave trade action

Postal workers would launch a 24-hour token strike from midnight today, Joint Postal Trade Union (JPTU) Convener Chinthaka Bandara said.

He said that all the postal workers will engage in ‘sick-leave’ trade union action due to the government’s failure to respond to their demands.
