PSC’s term extended by one month

Parliament today granted a one-month extension to the Parliament Select Committee (PSC) appointed to probe the Easter Sunday attacks to complete its final report.

Leader of the House Lakshman Kiriella said even though it was planned to complete the final report of the PSC by September 30, it was not possible to complete it as scheduled and requested for more time.

He said the PSC's term would be extended till October 31 under Standing Order 102.(Ajith Siriwardana)
