Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka on February 23 on a brief bilateral visit, Daily Mirror learns.
The visit which has been overdue for some time, will take place under the travel bubble concept introduced to facilitate high profile engagements.
The last Pakistani Prime Minister to visit Sri Lanka was in January 2016. That was when Prime Minister Navaz Sharif visited Sri Lanka at the invitation of then President Maithripala Sirisena .
Pakistan is one of the countries that provided military assistance to Sri Lanka during the war time. Pakistan also played a key role in support of Sri Lanka during the sessions of the UNHRC in the past. (Kelum Bandara)

SLC SHOULD MAKE USE OF IMRAN TO GIVE AN ENCOURAGEMENT TO OUR CRICKET TEAM AND ALSO HOW TO TRAIN PLAYERS TO REPLACE THE PRESENT LOT. UNLIKE INDIA WE DO NOT HAVE SUBSTITUTES WHO CAN PERFORM WELL IN COMPETITION
