A total of 73,267 Sri Lankans received COVID-19 vaccine yesterday alone, the Epidemiology Unit said.
Accordingly, a total of 61,882 doses of Sinopharm vaccine were administered yesterday while 11,385 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine were administered as the second dose.
The Epidemiology Unit said that the total number of Sinopharm vaccines given so far in the country is 276,762.
Meanwhile, the Sputnik V vaccine has been given to 14,673 people as the first dose as of today.
The vaccination programme will be carried out today in 59 vaccination centres in the Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara Districts.
