Man shot dead in Weeraketiya

A 39-year-old man shot dead by unidentified men at Kemegala in the Weeraketiya police division last night, police said.
After information that a person was injured due to a shooting incident, the Weeraketiya police sent a special police team to the scene. Later the victim had been admitted to the Weeraketiya hospital and transferred to the Tangalle hospital for further treatment. However, the victim was pronounced dead on the admission.
