Man shot dead in Padukka

A 39-year-old man was shot dead by an unidentified gunman on a motorbike at Galagedara, Padukka last night, police said.

They said the gunmen arrived wearing a full-face helmet and had opened fire at the man who was inside the restaurant and then fled the scene.

He was pronounced dead on admission to the Padukka Hospital.
