Man arrested in counterfeit notes raid in Kotmale

A suspect had been arrested with counterfeit currency notes valued over Rs. 200,000 during a raid in Kotmale this morning.

The Kotmale Police recovered 44 counterfeit note of Rs. 5,000 and one counterfeit note of Rs. 1,000 from the 38-year-old suspect's possession.

He was identified as a resident of Udawella and would be produced in the Helboda Magistrate's Court.
