Justice A.H.M.D Nawaz has been appointed as the Acting President of Court of Appeal. He was sworn in before President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat this evening.

What happened to current president of court of appeal. Gone on a foreign trip, sick, resigned. He is to be appointed to supreme court. But Consitutional Council has not approved yet. Or he has taken oath as supreme court.judge without consitutional council approval. Or 19A.is repealed. No more constitutional.council.by Presidential Decree
