Arumugam Thondaman’s son Jeewan Thondaman has signed nomination papers to contest the General Election from Nuwara Eliya District under the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna following the death of his father.
He signed the nominations at the Ceylon Workers' Congress headquarters in Kotagala yesterday. (Shantha Chadrasiri)

Let politicians nominate family, uncles, cousins etc to contest elections. But people should vote and elect only people of capability, good leadership, integrity, good conduct. If not our society will be ruined.
