This would be a good move. The speed is very slow at the start. But this speed is in a exponential pattern and will be very high in a certain stage. Popular example is that you can stack a newspaper page up to moon by repeat folding and cutting it into two 50 times. At the start this will be a joke, but you will realize the real situation in a certain stage.

According to the Sri Lankan medical advice the corona virus is only active at night that is why the curfew. Our country is the only country to impose curfew because of corona.

The curfew will be in place from 6 PM today (Friday the 20th) to 6 AM on Monday the 22nd. So it is not during the night only.
Curfews have been imposed in many counties of the US and also in India.
