Hotels and other places in the Galle district which were visited by the Chinese woman who was found infected with the Coronavirus will be checked, Southern Province Health Services Director Chandima Sirithunga said.
He said the Chinese woman had been staying in tourist hotels in the Galle Fort and Ahungalla and that the hotels were being closely monitored and the Karapitiya hospital has been prepared to admit suspected patients.
Meanwhile, the rubber museums in Galle town, which Chinese tourists visit daily, have also been closed since yesterday. (D.G. Sugathapala and Ahangama Deeyagahage)
