The government today said it was unaware of the incident where an employee of the Swiss Embassy in Sri Lanka was detained forcefully and threatened.
The Swiss Foreign Ministry said that an employee of the Swiss Embassy in Sri Lanka has been forcefully detained and threatened.
When questioned about these reports at the cabinet news briefing today, Minister Bandula Gunawardana said they were unaware of such an incident.
“We are not aware of such an incident. The Acting IGP will make a statement on this issue,” he said.
