Now now now, I know why there was that sudden visit to Cambodia. Mr. Zero/ Zero = Zero wanted the people to lite crackers on the street. Nothing of the sort where I live. Good choice as a clean candidate from an opposite camp will have a field day.

"Clean Candidate"??? My foot. $4 mil commission from Ukranian MIG deal, and embezzling public funds to build a memorial for his parents. Worst, in 2007, he signed a pact with USA to allow American troops free access to our soil. Remember, USA has "his file", and also "Basil's file".

    Dee Sunday, 11 August 2019 10:27 PM

    Where were the crackers?

Jaffna Logic Sunday, 11 August 2019 11:00 PM

Gotabyah remains powerful and popular because as the defence secretary he succeeded in singlehandedly coordinating the war which others had failed for 30 years. Hence if there is anyone who can have a remote chance in winning against him in the presidential election then it has to be a military figure who also contributed massively in winning the war, Sarath Fonseka.
