A fifth person died from COVID-19 in Sri Lanka, the Ministry of Health said.
The patient was a 44-year-old male who had returned from Italy and receiving treatment at the Welikanda Hospital, said the ministry.

RIP, frankly he should have stayed in italy. It's all these returnees who tried to jump ship who brought this here. Not tourists or business travelers, selfish entitled overseas Sri Lankans who then jumped quarantine and endangered the whole nation.
