Female returnee in the list has already left country: Police

That's a bit concerning it took so long to come out with this. Especially as immigration would have details of those who enter and leave the country. its a matter of minutes to check up a database.

There is no need for Police to regret, Police has done its duty for the safety of all citizens of the country. The person in question should apologize the Police and all citizens of the country (for disappearing without notifying the authorities) and unnecessarily wasting the valuable time of the Police at this critical juncture

First she left the country illegally then returned back to the country illegally and left the country again illegally while our custom and immigration officers were faster sleep.

Police had only to check the departure list apparently they have only checked the arrival list an made abig fuss about people hiding. Why the panic. These things happen at times like this just take it easy and relax.

""Therefore, there's no need to look for her anymore" OK , But investigate - Who will now look after the 9 babies ! Another question - where has she now gone ? Nab the two adults who was in this infamous "group" and also find out where the babies are. The statement by the police - "we regret any inconvenience caused" is rather strange and makes one believe that there is a political hand behind this episode.

"therefore there's no need to look for her, the Police said today" AND "we regret any inconvenience caused," - These two statements by the Police only make one to infer that - as far as the Police are concerned that She is " Rather a "virtuous , pure, sinless" character, and it is a "open and closed" case. The woman to had left for Italy without a Visa and arrived here with 9 babies ! . An alert should have been sent to her present destination to hold her for questioning on this mysterious episode. Wonder what country she has left and who issued the present visa to travel. ? The whole episode along with the two mysterious males in the "group" of 9 babies stinks ! ! AND as usual will be a forgotten chapter.

French Embassy over here - lease alert your authorities of a person who has returned from Italy - landed in Sri Lanka - and taken off to your country in a matter of 2 days. She is probable corona carrier ! - wonder, as a matter of such importance. whether our Sri Lankan authorities took the initiative to have alert the French Authorities, IF NOT - then Sri Lanka is NOT playing its part at all.
