A total of 1,034 complaints of election law violations and violence had been reported between October 8 to 19, the Elections Commission said today.
It said 421 complaints had been reported to the National Election Complaint Management Centre, while 613 complaints had been reported to the District Election Complaint Management Centres.
A total of 992 incidents of election law violations, eight violent activities and 34 other cases were among those complaints.
During the 24-hour period from Friday (18) to Saturday at 4.00 p.m., 96 complaints had been reported in connection with both election law violations and violent activities. (DSB)
