The quarantine curfew imposed in Gampaha District will continue until further notice, Army Commander Lt. Gen. Shavendra Silva said.
However, he said pharmacies and shops that sell essential goods and medicine in the curfew-imposed areas in the Gampaha District are allowed to open tomorrow from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm.
He said all the state and private banks in the Gampaha District will also be opened tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the Army chief said curfew in the Beruwala, Payagala and Aluthgama areas will be lifted at 5.00 am tomorrow. While the quarantine curfew which is being imposed in the areas on Colombo will also continue.
