Colombo Mayoress refutes media report

Colombo Mayoress Rosy Senanayake yesterday scoffed at reports that she had been asked to appear before a commission investigating corruption.

“I have not been asked to appear before any commission. It is fake news which is being circulated” Mrs. Senanayake said. She told Daily Mirror that she is currently overseas for a medical checkup.  (Yohan Perera)
