Churches in the archdiocese of Colombo is to observe 'Black Sunday' on March 7 where silent protests will be held in the churches of Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara Districts, calling the authorities to penalize those who are responsible for the Easter Sunday attacks.

It was announced in churches yesterday about the move where a request was made from the devotees to come to church on March 7 wearing black.

Head of the Social Relations Unit of the Archdiocese of Colombo Rev. Fr. Jude Crishantha who commented on the matter said Archbishop of Colombo Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith will issue a special statement in this regard within the next few days. (Yohan Perera)

Black Sunday massacre in Easter 2019,instigated in some cruel minds,as a result of erroneous religious teaching,murderers happened to believe, killing of nonbelievers is a virtue, and it's a one way ticket to heaven, base on that, they activated their heinous scheme, this erroneous teaching took so much of lives around the world including 9/11, so whole world respectfully, request leaders of this religion to add revision, such as love your neighbor,though he is not follow your Faith

This is the result of the pig headedness of the President. If a copy of the original PCoI was given to His Eminence the Cardinal, this will not happen. The Catholic Church has every right to know because it was Catholics who was slaughtered.
