Former MP Ranjan Ramanayake arrived at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to record a statement over an incident where he had a statement disrespecting Buddhism.
Computer Crime Division of the CID had summoned him to record a statement.

The police have to first define what disrespect to buddhism is before arresting people. It looks like the police are after who says it rather than what is said. Sad state of affairs.
