Former Minister Rajitha Senaratne arrived at the Colombo Chief Magistrate's court a short while ago for his second anticipatory bail application, which is to be taken up for consideration.
MP Rajitha Senaratne filed a fresh anticipatory bail application on December 20 in the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court seeking an order to prevent his arrest in connection with the ‘white van news conference’ held on November 10.
He had filed his initial anticipatory bail application on December 19 seeking an order to prevent his arrest, which was rejected on the basis that it could not be granted on uncertain charges.
