At least 647 people who had contacts with COVID-19 patients in Polonnaruwa District had been sent to quarantine, Regional Health Services Office said.
District Epidemiologist of the office Sanjaya Senaviratne said they were identified after health authorities conducted investigations to trace contacts of the infected patients in the Kandakadu Drug Rehabilitation Centre. (K.G. Karunaratne)

We know the results. During last 3 months people living in some housing areas, villages and streets were isolated and quarantined, but no one was reportedly infected.
