At least 221 persons for violating quarantine curfew within the last 24 hours ended 6 a.m today, police spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said.
He said the police also arrested 39 persons have been arrested for failing to wear face masks and maintain the social distancing in public places.
He said 40 vehicles were also taken into the custody during the period
