A 40-year-old COVID-19 patient died while receiving treatment at the National Hospital for Respiratory Diseases in Welisara, reporting the 21th COVID-19 death in Sri Lanka, the Health Ministry said.
The victim is a male from the Mahara area in Kadawatha.
The Ministry said he was suffering from high blood pressure and respiratory diseases.

The patient is already suffering the diseases and died.then doctor take the pcr test and conclude covid 19 patient died. Actually 20th died patient was suffering from urine infection. High diabetic. And admitted to general hospital for treatment. And taking treatment for her chronic disease. Later when she died they did the pcr test and result positive. And named as covid 19 patient. And cremated. Then the ward ,doctors, also should be quarantined. But nothing was done like this
