18-hour water cut from 10.00 a.m today

Eighteen-hour water would be commenced at 10.00 a.m today and it will last until 4 a.m tomorrow in Wattala area, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said.

They said the water cut will be imposed due to an urgent maintenance, service improvement work on the pipeline system on Hekitta road in Wattala.

The affected areas include Hekitta, Palliyawatta, Weliamuna Road, Balagala, Galagahaduwa, Maradana Road, Elakanda and Hendala Road road.

The NWSDB requests the public to call hotline 1939 for any information.
