Former Colombo Chief Magistrate Ms. Champa Janaki Rajaratna testifying before the Trial at bar at the Colombo High Court today said the note book of Frederica Jansz that contained notes in respect of the White flag case had blank pages and two pages of it were found torn leaving a one inch piece of the pages in tack with the note book.

She also said the note book was not in present appearance when it was handed over to the Magistrate Court.

Ms. Rajaratna said the notebook contained 89 pages at the time of handing it over to the court. The pages were not numbered, but subsequent to DSG counting the pages she ordered the interpreter Mudliyar to recount the pages and number them.

It was the Interpreter Mudliyar who brought it to the notice of her that two pages had been missing from the note book leaving parts of the pages in the thickness of 1 inch in the book. She said that some pages in the note book were left blank. (T. Farook Thajudeen)

I do not think the note book is the real one. It could well be a made-up note book in support of the fabrication of Fedrica Janz.

IF certain people SO decide to frame charges implicatin g others of false accusations, They always will have ways and means. The pages left behind and the ones torn MAY have the clue to what might be the conspiracy theory.

I have no words to admire former Colombo Chief Magistrate Champa Janaki Rajaratna as she is a real judge in the literal sense of the word.
