I think time has already passed. It's TOO LATE...
UNP leadership needs a Time Machine to rectify the mistakes.

By Saturday the rest of the party will have left.

Time to bring in a new leader who has charisma and vision to put the UNP back on track and also the country. We do not need leaders who go for tea parties at a drop of pin.

going to a tea party is ok coz we still have keep those values within us but should have a backbone to oppose whatever is wrong ..

UNP please understand that your leadership has failed. You should have changed your policies and leadership some time back. Now you have completely lost the confidence of the sinhala/buddhist majority in this country.

The whole leadership including Ranil, Kau. Tissa, Gayantha etc should leave.

asoka ranasinghe Monday, 13 September 2010 07:49 AM

ranil should not leave,he is the only leader internationally recognized, way to go ranil

    senarath Monday, 13 September 2010 07:51 AM

The only remedy is the leadership be changed. What else. The MPs who are in UNP are not strong enough to get it done.

UNP is a laughing stock. Even if the present leader ship is changed UNP will never recover. All UNP politicinas (Nowadays) are bunch of jokers. They wanted power They do not think about citizens of Sri Lanka. On the other hand governing party thinks more about the citizens of sri lanka
