Cops transferred

Nugegoda Division SSP Deshabandu Tennakoon and ASP Senapathi who is in charge of the Mirihana police area have been transferred to the Police Field Force Headquarters with immediate effect pending investigations into the death of a seven year old boy in Beruwala.

When contacted, SSP Tennakoon said that he has received a letter from the Police Headquarters to report to the Police Field Force Headquarters in Bambalapitiya immediately.

The child was killed during a shootout between police and robbers in Beruwala yesterday. (SD)

what a way to do, these two offiers were the best in Nugegoda, and they get this for doing a good job - "use and throw" theory - no independent police commission ??? you can see the early results of 18 A???
